Jonathan “Dhu” Thompson represents individuals who are victims of nursing home abuse and neglect as well as medical malpractice. He also specializes in personal injury cases, including automobile accidents. Mr. Thompson is also an Assistant District Attorney for Caddo Parish and is fluent in Spanish.
Mr. Thompson has conducted over 100 jury trials in his litigation career, including civil, criminal prosecution, and several death penalty prosecutions. Prior to his present employment, Mr. Thompson was an Assistant District Attorney in Orleans Parish and a staff attorney for the Louisiana Department of Insurance in Baton Rouge.
Mr. Thompson is a frequent lecturer at police academies, colleges, and local civic organizations on topics of current law and liability.
